The joy of being able to offer the titular Impulse Reactions in an article such as this after a show such as that is basically in how there are more characters to use here than within a standard tweet.

Wrestling Twitter was the place to be last night after another Saudi Arabian supershow left behind the sh*tstorm of all sh*tstorms (until the next one) to wearily walk through on a Road To WrestleMania unexpectedly forked by Mohammad Bin Salaman and Vince McMahon.

The comfort of these bullsh*t bonanzas were their placements on the calendar until now. Now, with back-to-back Universal Title changes as well as strap switches elsewhere on the show, we are out of the “house show with pyro” era of the 10 year deal and in to the meat and potatoes of a project that’ll probably see Mansoor go over Brock Lesnar in 2028.

Was this main event weirder than the time Shawn Michaels returned and Kane's mask and wig fell off? These are the questions Super ShowDown has left us to ponder. It's the damnedest thing - all that sportswashing and yet it’s hard not to feel covered in filth after four more bewilderingly insane hours of whatever the f*ck this pro wrestling product is now.

10. AJ Styles Vs Andrade Vs Bobby Lashley Vs Erick Rowan Vs R-Truth Vs...

“The Prestigious Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy” was both prize and omnipresent buzzphrase as Super ShowDown began in fatalistic fashion with yet another one of these weird gauntlet matches they’ve been happy to pad out time with when a Battle Royal isn’t worth the admin aggro.

Corey Graves threat that it could go all night was scarier than something one of the wrestlers tweeted the last time they got stuck in the country, but thankfully WWE kept this one within logical limits as R-Truth got the synergistic shine ahead of an overdue 24 Special airing immediately after the event. It was frustratingly 50/50, even if he went over three guys before AJ Styles polished him off. Lashley got caught then battered f*ck out of him after the fact, Andrade cracked heads with him following a missed back fist and Erick Rowan got disqualified because that cage gimmick hasn’t been abandoned yet.

Styles was hugely over even working overtime on his sh*thouse heel schtick, and appeared to have the whole thing won when The OC did a number on Rey Mysterio backstage.

But it is WrestleMania season...
