10 WWE Superstars And What Happened When They First Met Triple H
6. Stone Cold Steve Austin
One of the most popular Superstars in WWE history, Stone Cold Steve Austin has stayed with the company even though his in-ring career ended long ago. The on-screen nemesis of Vince McMahon appeared on a RAW episode before WrestleMania 36 to celebrate the 3:16 day. He shared a memorable moment with the reigning women's champion of the flagship show, Becky Lynch, inside the ring on that episode.
'The Texas Rattlesnake' worked for WCW in the early stages of his professional wrestling career, and he was a part of the organization when Paul Levesque signed with them. Recalling the old days of his career, the 1996 King of the Ring winner spoke about his first meeting with Triple H during an edition of The Steve Austin Show. Austin disclosed that he respected the lifestyle of 'The Cerebral Assassin' during the early phase of his career. He said:
"I met Triple H when he first came into WCW and here he came in, good looking dude, good worker, even back then. He wasn't too long out of Killer Kowalski's school. He worked several matches because he was already very polished even when he came into WCW. We hit it off right off the bat."
