1. Hulk Hogan
WWE.comWhen Hulk Hogan jumped to WCW in 1994 it was the biggest move in the 1990s. There was nobody else in WWE that had Hogan's star power when he left. Years later, guys like Steve Austin and The Rock were comparable, but not in 1994. To WCW's credit, they did a great job when Hogan go there. They immediately put the WCW Title on him by putting him into a "dream feud" with Flair and then two years later they turned him heel as the leader of the New World Order, which was the biggest difference maker they could have done. It wasn't all greatness for Hogan in WCW, but he made a lot of money and helped them reach the top. He was there until the summer of 2000. It was inevitable that Hogan would go back to WWE at some point. It was just a matter of when. Things worked out really well when he returned in 2002. His match with The Rock at WrestleMania 18 is legendary, then he went on to be WWE Champion one more time and he even had a WrestleMania 19 match with Vince McMahon too. There will never be a jump comparable to Hogan going to WCW in 1994, but at least he found his way back to WWE where he belongs.
