10 WWE Superstars In Dire Need Of New Finishers

Current Finisher: Accolade

Rusev’s Accolade was a good finisher for a while, when the move was protected by having many wrestlers either tap out immediately or ‘pass out’ from too much pain. But ever since Rusev lost to John Cena, and his subsequent opponents began breaking out of the hold, it has lost its reputation.

Rusev is in dire need of a new finisher to present him as a dominant force once again.

Suggested New Finisher: The Crash Thunder Buster

There are some moves that tell stories better than others. If you want to show superhuman strength, you lift someone onto your shoulders à la John Cena. If you want to show mastery of ring awareness, you use a maneuver out of nowhere like Randy Orton.

And if you want to demonstrate remorselessness, you lift someone up and smash their face into the mat.

The CTB, a.k.a. the Belly-to-back Wheelbarrow Facebuster, is such a move. Requiring the right combination of strength and skill, using the CTB would be the perfect way for Rusev to show complete domination over his opponents.

By lifting them above his head and then smashing them face-first into the canvas, Rusev would have a much easier time in re-establishing himself as a cold, remorseless monster who doesn’t care about the well-being of his opponent.

After all, isn’t that what made the Rusev character successful in the first place?
