10 WWE Superstars John Cena Has ALREADY Ruined Since Going Part-Time

6. Braun Strowman

Nothing has derailed Braun Strowman's astonishing ascent to the upper echelon in 2017, but a dreadful Monday Night Raw match with John Cena was as close as the 'Monster Among Men' ever came to looking ordinary.

It wasn't even that 'The Champ' was gifted a (disqualification) victory over the obstensibly unstoppable monster, more just the manner in which 'Big Match John' seemingly went out of his way to make perhaps their only encounter as boring as humanly possible.

Thanks to uncharacteristic speed and intensity and the dedicated protection of his character bell-to-bell, Strowman has had absorbing clashes with just about everybody on the roster with the exception of all-round anomaly Brock Lesnar. For such chemistry to go A.W.O.L in there with Cena felt as off then as it still does now.

The Lesnar match rightfully gets pelters, but Cena threw Strowman around with equally reckless abandon. Suplexes in the match were completely unnecessary exhibitions of John's well-known strength, and the Attitude Adjustment that lead to Braun triggering a cheap DQ made the giant look pathetic when he stubbornly took back the last work with a steel step Powerslam.
