10 WWE Superstars Who Tarnished Their Legacy

3. Scott Hall

Another wrestler that Diamond Dallas Page has welcomed into his home in an attempt to get clean and change his life is the former Razor Ramon, Scott Hall. A very talented performer in his day, Scott is another unfortunate casualty of a lifestyle that was dependent on drugs and alcohol. Fans remember fondly his classic matches with Shawn Michaels and his antics as one of the founding members of the business changing NWO. In recent years those memories have been soured as Hall has appeared on wrestling shows frail, a shadow of his former self or not appeared at all as he was in 'no condition to perform'. Hall's problems with substance abuse became public in the late 90s as he was riding high (no pun intended) in the main events of the red hot WCW. His problems were so bad that he was arrested multiple times and divorced from his wife Dana in 1998. Hall's problems continued into the 2000s and he had many stints in rehab, following yet more arrests and health problems. A 2011 ESPN documentary shed further light on Hall's issues, including Hall attributing them in part to an incident in the 1980s where he shot and killed a man in self-defence. Hall is a sad case because he had so much talent and potential at one time. He is currently training and managing his son Cody while working with Page to maintain his sobriety.
