10 WWE Superstars The Undertaker Should Have Faced At WrestleMania Instead

WrestleMania 13's main event between Undertaker and Sycho Sid is infamous for a number of reasons, but the silver lining in it is that The Deadman finally picked up the WWE Championship that had evaded him for six long years. That silver lining could have been maintained in a much more meaningful way had the creative team went for the more logical option: Mankind.

Mankind was 'Taker's greatest enemy at this point but their 1996 feud hadn't definitively ended by the time WrestleMania rolled around. In fact, it would pick up again in the following weeks as the champion put his newly-won title on the line against his old foe.

With that in mind, it would have made more sense to put the belt on Mankind at the beginning of the year. Not only would it have potentially saved the company from Sid's run as one of the lowest-drawing WWE Champions in history, it would have added much more meaning to 'Taker's victory as he wouldn't have just won the gold; he would have done so by the defeating the one man who constantly had his number.

This pair's feud is iconic and it's a damn shame they never shared a WrestleMania match - especially when they so easily could have.
