7. Ronda Rousey

Everyone assumed (okay, knew for a fact) that Ronda Rousey would be a big star in WWE given the name she made for herself before she began her wrestling career, but whether she would sink or swim once she stepped between the ropes for the first time was a mystery.

Sure enough, she knocked it out of the park at WrestleMania 34 with a critically-acclaimed in-ring debut that saw her defeat The Authority's Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside Kurt Angle. That stellar showing from the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion proved to people she did indeed have what it takes to be a difference maker in WWE after all.

From that point forward, Rousey could do no wrong, being received by audiences as a revered hero. From breaking Stephanie's arm (again) to rivaling Absolution to taking the fight to Mickie James, Rousey had been annihilating everyone who has stepped foot in her path of destruction lately.

Granted, she hasn't competed in a televised match since 'Mania, but it's clear she's being groomed for that top spot in the Raw women's division, and rightfully so. We'll see if she can continue to maintain momentum come Money in the Bank when she vies for the Raw Women's Championship.
