3. Braun Strowman

Despite never once holding gold, Braun Strowman was considered by many to be the biggest MVP of WWE programming in 2017. He was primed to have yet another strong year in 2018, and as of now, he has not disappointed.

Okay, so he has been directionless for the better part of 2018, but that doesn't mean he hasn't made the most of everything he's been given. He turned a near-intolerable feud with Kane into something decent, had a strong showing inside the Elimination Chamber, and even won the Raw Tag Team Championship with a 10-year-old at WrestleMania 34.

The only true knock against Strowman these days is that most of his matches don't have much meaning. You can see him squash Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn only so many times before it grows old, but at least audiences still look forward to his segments each week and roar in approval whenever he makes his entrance. He's the complete package and should be commended for coming a long way since his days as a Wyatt Family member.

The reactions he receives are befitting of a Universal champion, so here's hoping he takes that title from Brock Lesnar sooner rather than later.
