10 WWE Superstars Who Hated Their Own Moves
2. Christian - Unprettier
It's safe to say that Christian was quite fond of his signature inverted double underhook facebuster as he used the move throughout his career in WWE and TNA.
However, the former World Heavyweight Champion wasn't always a big fan of the name given to his clinical finisher.
It started out as 'The Impaler' but later evolved into 'The Unprettier' after Michael Cole apparently overheard Christian, Edge and The Hardy Boyz jokingly calling it that backstage. Cole then said the name on-air and it stuck.
Christian clearly didn't think that particular name matched the brutality of the move and that's why when he eventually returned to the company he felt it was time for a change.
He spoke to Vince McMahon directly and pitched a new name for the signature to the Chairman. McMahon loved it and the move was quickly changed to 'The Killswitch' for the remainder of his career as a performer.
Not all stars completely despised their own weapons, some just couldn't stand the moniker they'd been branded with and Christian took it upon himself to shed the 'Unprettier' skin once and for all.
