10 WWE Superstars Whose Music Was Cooler Than They Are

4. Taz

In ECW, Taz was cool. He was a glowering killer with just the right smouldering aggression to heat up the blood of a ballroom full of ECW faithful seething with beer and testosterone. And when he debuted in the WWE he was cool for a while, until it turned out no one knew what to do with this stocky shoot-style wrestler, whereupon he slid down the roster as if it was a fireman's pole to oblivion.

Taz's music stayed cool throughout. Its heartbeat and flatlining sound effect intro, hammering drums and relentless descending guitar riffs spoke of impending doom and the inevitability of this stout grappler dismembering his opponent in the ring. Taz's diminishing relevance took the polish off his theme but it stayed as badass as ever, a hyper-masculine testament to the time when Taz was the coolest guy in wrestling.
