10 WWE Superstars Without Direction Following WrestleMania & Greatest Royal Rumble

1. Roman Reigns

The organisation are in danger of their 'Big Dog' getting hit by a Lex Express if the new golden boy loses any more big matches before finally snaring a Universal Title now effectively being held hostage by two-date millionaire Brock Lesnar.

WWE haven't had a choker this big since Stephanie McMahon raided a costume store for her WrestleMania 32 attire. 'The Beast' was again successful in his second defence against the former Shield member, despite a steel cage finish designed to protect Roman for one...more...match. That very mantra was chanted ironically by cult favourite Christian in such a way that audience joined in on the cause - in 2018 WWE won't even get half that movement behind their highest babyface priority.

Reigns now heads to Backlash to presumably beat Samoa Joe to send the 'Samoan Submission Machine' off to SmackDown Live! and get some much-needed heat back, but Joe's superlative work of late doesn't warrant such carelessness. The plight of Roman has thus extended to others around him - a sign of concerning renewed toxicity for a man that should have been installed as John Cena's replacement years before now.
