3. Shannon Moore (vs. JBL) - SmackDown 2004
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWig5E8ho8U Shannon Moore received not one, but two world title shots during his less than meaningful spell in the WWE. Moore was the stereotypical second rate guy in the company who the bookers seemingly saw more as a piece of meat rather than a bonafide superstar. Nevertheless, his first shot at the big one came under the mask of "El Gran Luchadore" when he faced JBL for the WWE Championship. Initially, Moore was dominated by his much larger opponent, but a second Luchadore (the disguised Eddie Guerrero, whom JBL was feuding at the time) took Moore's place, prompting Bradshaw to run away and giving Moore the victory by count out. His second shot came later in 2004, against the same opponent on SmackDown. This time, it was a straight forward squash match resulting in an easy win for the would-be Raw commentator. That's as good as it got for the former Mattitude follower before he was released in 2005. He did return for a two year spell in 2006 but nothing was done with him then either.
