As long as Brock Lesnar wants to turn up, he’ll have a place waiting for him at WrestleMania. Lesnar’s appearances are the modern-day equivalent of music hall strongmen and sideshow giants, in that audiences will pay just to see him do his thing.
Given how good Lesnar is at beating people up, it seems natural to put him together with someone whose job is getting beaten up as convincingly as possible. Step forward Sami Zayn, the WWE’s resident underdog punching bag, who has a freakish ability to make audiences love him even when he gets soundly beaten.
There are few men who would complement the Minnesotan Murder Ham better than Zayn, whose energetic pinballing around the ring would make Lesnar look even more of a walking siege engine than he already is.
