10 WWE Wrestlers Already Dreaming Of AEW

1. Finn Bálor

What is it with WWE and the bizarre practise of shortening the names of its performers?

(Mustafa) Ali, (Matt) Riddle, Shotzi (Blackheart): does Vince McMahon think you're too dumb to handle a couple of extra syllables?

Most likely yes.

In a continuation of this trend, Finn Bálor became Fin Bálor at Extreme Rules as he debuted his new fish gimmick when returning to life in the most comical of ways. The Fed defence squad claimed that WWE "protected" Finn with this finish. F*ck me.

1) Finn isn't special. They don't like beating anybody definitively.

2) Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Goldberg, John Cena - the real stars - none of them are losing like that.

3) He looked like a total geek. He looked pitiful. This was more embarrassing than a clean loss. How do you not get that? How can you have lived through the Cesaro "push" of this year and not see that Finn is also finished?

The finish surely convinced Finn that he's done. The last thing he had going for him is dead, his regular persona has been normalised, and he's already done the saving grace NXT return and he can't do it again, since NXT is as dead as the Demon.

Moreover, Finn, as he revealed in an interview with Cultaholic, is practically dreaming of AEW already. He "loves" the idea of the Forbidden Door, and has maintained his close friendship with PAC, who he'd surely love to work alongside once again.
