10 WWE Wrestlers In Danger Of Missing Out On WrestleMania 41

5. New Day

Wrestling fans worldwide kneel by their beds every evening to pray for a healthy Big E's in-ring comeback. That'd be a magical moment, and it looked possible when fellow New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on him in December 2024. A crestfallen E has yet to get any sort of revenge on his former buddies. The longer we go without, the less likely that becomes.

Bummer.

It's a double bummer for Kofi and Woods. Without E roaring back to shove expulsion right in their faces, neither has a suitable spot on the WrestleMania 41 lineup. 'KofiMania' and Kingston's heralded singles run is a distant memory, and so is Xavier becoming King Of The Ring. As a tag, they have a bit more menace post-heel turn, but is it really enough to push them to the forefront of the doubles scene?

Their most recent work came as bit part players in a tag bout vs. LWO duo Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee that only served to set up an Elimination Chamber qualifier between Rey and Logan Paul. That kinds sums it up. Kofi and Xavier are still waiting to turn this double trouble heel guise into something special that prolongs New Day's purpose to the WWE cause.

Let's face it, New Day will win tag gold again at some point in the future, but they don't have an obvious feud heading into 'Mania. If only Big E was able to wrestle again without fears of breaking down physically or ruining his current quality of life. Argh!
