1. The Fabulous Moolah
To say The Fabulous Moolah was all about herself is like saying the sky is blue.
As a booker, she allegedly demanded 25% of every fee collected by her talent. On top of that, her wrestlers were required to rent property from Moolah and, having screwed them out of as much money as possible, she regularly used her position and influence to screw them out of their opportunities so that she could stand the test of time at their expense.
Those that opposed her soon found none of her girls could wrestle them and often had to retire early. Moolah was also an alleged abuser who has been accused of getting her trainees hooked on drugs, regularly pimping them out to promoters and male wrestlers while they were unable to defend themselves.
All of this came to light after her death and were common knowledge to most fans by 2018, but this didn't stop the WWE from announcing The Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal for WrestleMania 34. The backlash was immediate and so full of righteous vitriol that WWE changed the name of the match just two days later.
That they'd even attempted this showed that Vince still revered the worst woman in wrestling.
