In the space of a couple of years, Strowman has gone from the Wyatt Family's weak link (yes, there was a time when Luke Harper was considered the most likely of Bray's brothers to emerge as a singles star) to a man whose absence from the WrestleMania card earlier this year was, in some circles, referred to as "a disgrace".

Not only that, but the 'Monster Among Men' has proved himself an able performer inside the ring, putting on a string of show-stealing matches with Roman Reigns, and proving that the year he spent decimating local competitors didn't totally go to waste.

That's pretty good going for a man who many fans initially dismissed as a Khali-style WWE sideshow, whose only use was towering over his opponents for pre-match promo material, and growing an awesome beard.
