4. Chad Gable
The term "workhorse" gets thrown around quite often in the world of professional wrestling. The likes of Dean Malenko, William Regal, Cesaro and more have all been considered sublime in-ring performers who were never given the attention they deserved, and one name who easily slots in with them is Chad Gable.
The fantastic Chad feels like a true rebrith of the legendary Kurt Angle, not just because of their similar gimmicks and move-sets but also thanks to his strong charisma and energetic promos. You'd think this would lead to WWE taking Gable seriously, but if he wanted respect from the McMahons, he should probably find a way to grow an inch or two.
WWE has repeatedly ruined Gable's character and even publicly mocked him. Some of the most egregious crimes include breaking up the impeccable American Alpha, having him lose to Baron Corbin in the King of the Ring Tournament, giving him a tonne of losses, and worst of all, his infamous rebranding to Shorty G.
While Gable has outlived these terrible moments, he's not doing any better as the head of the Alpha Academy, and it seems that no amount of change will fix that.
