Everyone knows that Sting lost his first WWE match against Triple H at WrestleMania 31 three years ago, mainly because not a day has gone by since in which a wrestling fan hasn't taken to the internet to complain about it.

Persistent griping about the outcome of a wrestling match, when there are things like war and disease in the world, can sometimes seem petty and short-sighted, but in this instance you almost have to hold your hands up and say: yeah, let's march on Connecticut already.

Because, apart from cementing The Game's reputation as the industry's number one gravedigger (and that's not a Katie Vick reference), this result accomplished very little. Fans who did the decent thing by cheering for the good guy were sent home feeling like Vince McMahon had just punched them square in the face.

Things became even more baffling later on in 2015, when Sting returned to Monday Night Raw with his sights on Seth Rollins' WWE Championship. Where do you get off mounting a challenge for the company's biggest prize when your record is zero and one?
