10 WWE Wrestlers Who Need To Redeem Themselves In 2025
5. Braun Strowman
It's been a repeated pattern for many years as WWE has a way of losing interest in the giants once the natural aura they had around them in their early stages wanes out. Braun Strowman is the latest addition to that list, as the company did everything to do with "The Monster Among Men" in his WWE run between 2015 and 2020.
He got released in 2021 and went on to control his narrative with EC3, but dropped the same narrative and jumped on the first opportunity he got to return to WWE in 2022. However, things were different when he came back to the company, and he could not return to not being finished with people.
The tag team with Ricochet was nothing special, and he took a year off from in-ring competition after undergoing neck surgery. He returned in April 2024, and the brief feud with Big Bronson Reed is the only thing that kept him relevant this year. He's in what looks like creative purgatory, but he still has lots to offer if provided with the right direction. It's good that WWE didn't put him together with the Wyatt Sicks since it makes the most sense for the group to go after Strowman since his last on-screen collaboration with Bray Wyatt was a feud over the Universal Championship. The same might go for Alexa Bliss since she cost Wyatt the feud against Randy Orton and got tormented by Uncle Howdy in 2022. Maybe that's something WWE should consider doing with Strowman in 2025 and pair him up with a returning Bliss in an entertaining feud with The Wyatt Sicks.
