9. Damian Priest

From the minute Damian Priest found himself lining up alongside the rest of Team NXT at the 2019 Survivor Series PPV, it was clear WWE had big plans for 'The Archer of Infamy'.

Sure enough, throughout the next year Priest would regularly throw down with the likes of Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic on Wednesday nights, even locking horns with Finn Balor at TakeOver: In Your House. Those performances would then lead to an NXT North American title-winning showing at the following TakeOver event in a multi-man ladder match.

That Championship run may not have lasted for as long as he would've liked, but Priest's rapid improvement soon saw him kissing the black and gold brand goodbye. After debuting at the 2021 Royal Rumble, and forming an unexpected bond with Bad Bunny during his early days on Raw, Priest will now be exposed to a ton of casual eyes tuning in to watch his pal batter The Miz at 'Mania 37.

If WWE are willing to put him in this sort of position just a few months into his main roster career, expect big things from Mr. Priest by the end of 2021.
