11 HUGE AEW Full Gear 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

10. AEW Championship Eliminator Final

This year's Championship Eliminator has been a mixed bag of brilliant and terrible execution.

Ethan Page telegraphed his waltz to the final with some killer promos aspiring to win the the whole thing before it even really existed. The brackets positioned babyface equivalent Ricky Starks as the other obvious shout, and thus the slow march to what we can presume will be the final began.

Fortunately, Tony Khan took a different approach to Starks' journey, and Full Gear's been made all the more captivating as a result. As of this writing on Thursday, 'The Absolute' hasn't even made it to the final. And he'll need to survive a monster mash of Lance Archer and Brian Cage to get there. And probably take down Cage on the same night he squares up to Page.

This is good babyface tournament booking right out of the consensus worst WWE one ever - it was "in Philly, you big dumb b*tch" where Savio Vega had to qualify on the King Of The Ring 1995 pre-show before falling short against Mabel at the death. Can Starks go one better by vanquishing Cage and having enough in the tank to best 'All Ego'?

Yes, he can. Winter Is Coming will be all the hotter for Starks having his first big shot.

Winner - Ricky Starks
