8. Riddle Vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins

The pressure is on Riddle and Seth Rollins to have the match of the night.

At this point, Rollins is WWE’s -accepted ring general, while ‘The Original Bro’ remains in the form of his life following a smooth transition back to the singles ranks post-RKBro. Expectations are subsequently quite high.

A natural summer programme if only for where both currently sit on the roster, Rollins is star enough to be the gatekeeper Riddle must overcome if he wants to occupy similar space himself for years to come. The former tag team champion, meanwhile, could do with a major win following big defeats against Roman Reigns and The Usos.

A result in little doubt then? Not quite - WWE typically like to drop a coupon-buster on the show and the likely quality of the encounter reeks of the series advancing beyond ‘The Biggest Party Of The Summer.’ Riddle losing again won’t be the best look, but WWE will bank on his victorious rematch headlining a Reigns-less Extreme Rules the following month.

Winner - Seth Rollins
