One character trait of Kurt was intensity. Another intense individual was Eddie Guerrero, so it should be little surprise that the pair had some major clashes when contesting the WWE's main event scene. The two had disagreed when wrestling in the ring in 2004, and the war of words continued to the back. Ignoring the fact that Kurt was a world class wrestler, Eddie actually dived for a takedown when they got to gorilla. Angle quickly stuffed it and then took control of the raging Guerrero. The fight was split up before it could go any further, but in that short instance, Eddie must have been consumed with hate for the Olympic Gold Medalist.
