A lot of folks tuning into this podcast would've wanted to hear Triple H fire back at criticism on WWE's recent creative. 'The Game' didn't full on blast the critics, but he did address some of the attention that comes his way exclusively. Here, Hunter said he’s not sure if people know how complex WWE’s creative process is.

He's also is in the unique position of explaining things to talent even though something might not have been 100% his idea or plan. Regardless of who came up with what, he's the one who has to deliver the news. It sounds like TKO meddles more than people know, but that’s obviously just a writer reading between the lines here given recent news items about Pat McAfee’s booking etc.

WrestleMania 40 is the event Trips points to his as having full control for the first time, but even then he doesn’t view it as a crystal clear moment more than a slow transition he’s still getting used to. Vince McMahon's influence lingered for a long while, and it is easy to forget that he’s only actually been in this job for a few years by this point.

In other words, he’s still learning how to manage all of this crazy nonsense the right way.

Cody went a different route on the pod. He didn't address the criticism so much as hype 'Mania 42 as big time and a battle against WWE's own record-breaking ways. That's a positive spin on things, which is maybe what the roster's quarterback has to do.
