When all is said and done, I think it is fair to say that Kofi Kingston will go down in history as having a pretty darn successful career in World Wrestling Entertainment. Currently one half (one third) of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi has won 12 different championships in the country including the United States Championship on three occasions.

Kofi was born in Kumasi, Ghana. which interestingly enough is also where Leeds United legend and scorer of fantastic volleys Tony Yeboah was born. Kofi is the only African-born wrestler to win the United States Championship to this day, and most certainly the only African-born champion to ever originally be billed from Jamaica.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
