11 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW All Out 2021

1. Professional Wrestling Is The Greatest Medium Ever

It's no wonder that none of these guys ever retire. Ever.

Professional wrestling is the best drug.

As Kenny Omega closed the show with his "Goodbye and goodnight" spiel, the lights went out. Bryan Danielson did not appear.

Adam Cole did.

Adam Cole did, and he rejoined his Elite brethren with a beautiful callback to Being The Elite. The super-faction beat the piss out of Christian Cage and Jurassic Express in a wild scene that spawned several dream matches. A white-hot card went ballistic. Everything on this show was so awesome and so special that fears of another overlong, uneven effort proved totally unfounded. If the show ran until next week, they'd still be going apesh*t.

And then Bryan Danielson did appear. And Bryan Danielson was absolutely incendiary in his sh*t-kicking of Nick Jackson. If the show ran until next month, they'd still be going apesh*t.

If pro wrestling is a drug, this was uncut. Wave upon wave of euphoria overwhelmed the arena as AEW spawned wave upon wave of dream matches.

Adam Cole Vs. Jungle Boy. Adam Cole Vs. Bryan Danielson. Bryan Danielson Vs. Kenny Omega. The Young Bucks Vs. Bryan Danielson and Jungle Boy.

Just think about what the next Blood & Guts match is going to look like, holy f*cking Jesus Christ s**t.

A better swerve than anything the Attitude Era gave us.

Pro wrestling in 2021 is better than the Attitude Era.
