11 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Nov 13)

2. Bloody Hell!

Mia Yim

The Ladder Match main event burst into life as explosively Mia Yim's poor face after she took ate the implement several minutes in.

Real drama informed the kayfabe chaos with the sort of harmony that isn't really appropriate at this time of year - good of surprise arrival Kay Lee Ray to bring it all back around to war with a brutal attack on Dakota Kai after the 'Captain Of Team Kick' had remained true to her work.

Yes - Kai didn't have the venom of a cobra after all. She teed a bloodied Yim up to win the whole thing before she was ran into the steps by Ray. Worse was to come from the NXT UK Women's Champion - pushing Yim off a ladder and through another one on the floor was enough to gift Shirai the win and, as it turned out, her team the advantage at WarGames.

It was an insane an unexpected way to end the broadcast. So much so, that it wasn't actually the end...
