Former Olympian Jeff Cobb managed to capture the Television title in his debut Ring of Honor match. Hangman Page, meanwhile, had previously failed to win the belt earlier in the year but quickly set his sights on the new champion as he continued his pursuit of the belt.

Their Final Battle bout immediately became a match of the night contender as both men threw caution to the wind. Early on, Page launched off the apron with a shooting star press but was caught with an overhead belly-to-belly on the floor. Hangman later retaliated with an impressive display of strength, deadlifting the champion off the mat into a fallaway slam. The two ended up back on the floor when Page hit a top rope moonsault to the outside. Eventually, the champion fired back with a tombstone and his Tour of the Islands finisher to retain the Television title.

Hangman will have to live with failing to win championship gold in ROH as he and his Elite brethren depart the company. Meanwhile, Cobb will look to continue his reign of dominance since becoming the TV Champion and will wait to see who steps up to challenge for the belt next.
