11. Macho Man Randy Savage's SAME DAY Scowl

WrestleMania V's enormous main event between WWE Champion Randy Savage and challenger Hulk Hogan deserved every dollar it generated for the company - and it made a f*cking lot of them.

The build remains arguably the best in company history, with economics alone justifying the objective success. That it started in the very venue it ended with precisely 12 months to get it right was perhaps the reason it resonated as well as it did.

With his newly-won title, 'The First Lady of Wrestling' Miss Elizabeth and best mate Hogan, the Macho Man had it all, but that exact scenario informed the violent paranoia that lay dormant in his unhinged psyche.

Months of joy were tempered by miniscule bouts of jealousy regarding Hogan and Elizabeth's imagined inter-personal relationship, until the envy overpowered the indemnity. Split-second glances had become piercing stares towards the two, with 'The Hulkster' catching the Champion's ire until the pair infamously exploded on a pre-WrestleMania edition of The Main Event.

It had of course, been there from the very beginning. Celebrating the title he'd won with Hogan's help at WrestleMania IV, Savage shot but the tiniest glimpse at Hogan when he shared in the glory of it all with Elizabeth. He launched her onto his shoulders after the fact, bullishly claiming ownership in a foreshadowing of the fury to come.
