A little snippet of footage that comparatively few people have ever seen, this brief encounter took place after RAW on April 13th 2009, as now former WWE guy Joey Styles interviewed the Divas Champion Maryse backstage.
Hilariously, CM Punk, Money In The Bank briefcase in hand, passed by the pair of them during the interview and stopped short at the sight of all that silver over Maryse’ shoulder.
Maurice (as Punk famously used to call her) gets completely the wrong idea and thinks that Punk is checking her out, leaving it to Styles and Punk to reassure her that he’s only wondering whether he should cash in the briefcase to become the first male Diva’s Champion.
Cue a thousand one-liners about Punk always having been a champion diva and/or having dominated the Diva’s division ever since he joined the WWE...
