12 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Get Rowdy

If the news of Stephanie McMahon's position at the broadcast booth had only one positive, it was that it delivered a stronger implication that Ronda Rousey would indeed debut as the 30th entrant of the historic clash.

Rousey and McMahon famously faced off in an enjoyable WrestleMania skirmish to tease a bigger contest, that sadly never arrived, before the 'Rowdy' fighter lost much of her sheen along with her undefeated record in UFC.

She remains no less of a blockbuster name whenever the company wish to deploy her, evidenced by the buzz an appearance at the Mae Young Classic generated when the WWE and MMA iterations of the 'Four Horsewomen' briefly faced off.

Entering late and with little to actually do in the match other than eliminate the final foes, Ronda's appearance and victory should close out the Royal Rumble match and pay-per-view. Her mandatory sign-point won't marry up with the Stephanie stare-down she'll undoubtedly be locked in, but a title shot will be the least of the company's concerns as the line the cameras up for an ESPN-ready money shot.
