7. The Royal Rumble Champion Has A 13-8 Record At Wrestlemania
For the majority of the winners of the Royal Rumble match, they are guaranteed a championship match at Wrestlemania. Not necessarily the main event as the Rumble match has taken that spot lately, and there was a time where there were two world titles to choose from. There have been a total of 21 championship opportunities at Wrestlemania for the Royal Rumble winner with 13 of those 21 being able to capture the gold on the world's biggest stage. A record of 13-8 isn't overwhelming, but the odds are still in the favor of the Rumble winner with a win percentage of 62%. The very first time this was implemented was in 1993 where Yokozuna successfully defeated Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 9, but lost the title to Hulk Hogan minutes later. The biggest streak of wins is 7 from 2001 to 2007, and the biggest streak of Rumble winners losing at Wrestlemania is 4 from 2008-2011. Two of the last three Rumble winners have won with Batista losing last year.
