12 Most Embarrassing Wrestler Debuts In WWE History

7. Glacier

After months of vignettes that seemed to be preparing audiences for the real life version of Mortal Kombat's Sub Zero, the man know as Glacier (Right! Because of the...cold!) made his television debut on the short-lived WCW Pro show. Complete with a ripoff of the Mortal Kombat theme song and fake snow falling from the rafters, everything about Glacier's entrance screamed "Please be entranced by my pretend mysticism!" The martial arts "kata" he performed before the match looked like the work of a 12-year-old Tae Kwon Do yellow belt who had to split time between karate and soccer. There are several telling elements about this match that allude to how much floundering the character would do over the ensuing months. Most telling is that the announcers literally have no idea how to best describe Glacier. They just keep throwing various descriptions against the wall, hoping viewers will latch onto their favorite. Larry Zybysko:"This guy's a black belt in kung fu...one of the forms of kung fu...many styles...studied under Japanese masters...in Japan. He's managed to combine the hard and soft styles...along with the Korean styles."Mike Tenay:"He is the son of a police officer...his brother is also a police officer. At one point in his life, he had to make the decision...would he go into law enforcement?"Dusty Rhodes:"What I dug up from this situation is this guy here has got a big heart. I mean, we're talking about a real great...person." He then proceeded to wrestler, rather poorly, with nothing but the soft hues of that blue light (barely) lighting his movements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1NzprbE1pQ
