6. Kane Is Actually A Former Teacher And Current Political Spokesperson
At first glance, Kane is a fearsome monster. Fans looked at that red mask and quivered at the thought of the man underneath it. However, there was also an urban legend that circulated saying Kane was actually a third grade english teacher. This seemed pretty preposterous, people looked at the guy and couldn't imagine anything in the kid nurturing mould. But the urban legend persisted. An extension of this is the urban legends on Kane being a libertarian politician, and most recently a small business owner. Wrestling is more like his part time gig than his actual gig. Why People Believe It: People believe it because there's certifiable proof! Glenn Jacobs formally attached his name to his wife's insurance company and has been a libertarian spokesman for many years. He actually performs seminars on economics and politics. Reports and images of these get out, which then starts the murmurs that wrestling is just a part time gig for the 47 year old. Should We Believe It: Yes. Kane confirmed his teaching past in 2003's WWE Unscripted. His small business and political seminars have dedicated websites, just take a look at the video below! Whether he sees WWE as the part time gig or vice versa, it is unknown.
