Longtime WWF/E fans likely remember the pairing of William Regal as WWF commissioner in the early 2000s and Tajiri as his aide/butler. It was an amusing duo that worked surprisingly well.

But the two men would team up again in early 2005, with Regal losing his tag team partner Eugene (and the tag titles) and needing a new partner. Tajiri and Regal captured the World Tag Team Championships on an episode of Raw emanating from Japan, and they would hold them for nearly three months.

Regal and Tajiri would lose the tag titles at Backlash 2005 in a tag team turmoil match where they won the first two contests but lost the third to La Resistance, who lost to new champs Rosey & The Hurricane.
