12 Stars WWE Has No Idea What To Do With

3. Bray Wyatt

When Bray Wyatt debuted in 2013, he looked to be one of the most interesting characters WWE had seen in years. The concept of a backwoods cult leader with a loyal army was perversely fascinating, and Wyatt clearly had the verbal chops to pull it off. Feuds with Daniel Bryan and John Cena brought out the best in Wyatt, though he found himself in an unenviable position after losing the Cena feud. The creative team could have given Wyatt some purpose after losing to Cena, but instead, they kept him running in place. Wyatt continued to cut the same promos he had delivered since his debut, alluding to strange characters and dark forces but never actually showing any character progression. The tactic he took during the Cena feud - singling out a babyface, calling him a fraud, and threatening to topple his house of cards - became his standard modus operandi. Wyatt's current feud with Roman Reigns has exposed just how little progress he's made since his debut. He's dogged Reigns with repetitive promos and magic tricks, and all the while, The Wyatt Family stable has slowly reformed (this time with Braun Strowman, a wrestler WWE actually has interest in pushing). The Reigns feud is set to end at Hell in a Cell, and whomever Wyatt takes on next, it's safe to assume what the feud will look like.
