12 Things We Learned From Bayley On The Sam Roberts Show

9. Fitting In With Traditional Divas

Katie talks about Bayley's career and how long she's been in the business - stating that she got her start under the name Davina Rose - and asks if it was intimidating to come under the WWE umbrella at a time when the divas were more flash and less substance then they are now, adding that she's "not a bra and panties kinda girl." Bayley calls it "really, really weird" saying she felt like they would try and change her, and if she didn't change then she wouldn't succeed. She was going to try no matter what because it was where she wanted to be so she was willing to make the effort. Katie asks if she would have done it had they asked her to go "more lingerie, more sexy?" and she says no. She never wanted to do those things, and didn't think she had the look for it and that they wouldn't want to use her for that stuff anyway. Her first month there was very hard, with all the makeup and dresses and restrictions on ring work like being forced to pull hair, and it was difficult to find a happy medium.
