12 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 6)

12 - It's The Small Things

As the tensions simmered, the two factions were locked in a stare-down: the Elite blocked off the escape route of the ramp, the Inner Circle cowered by the ring.

This allowed the crowd to register and react to the controlled chaos of the melee, and the scene created a great visual of faction warfare. But before that visual threatened to become hollow, and staged, Matt Jackson burst forward with a ‘F*ck this, I’m still hot’ expression and launched himself back into battle.

A marvellous twist and incredible detail, this sort of advanced storytelling breeds suspension of disbelief. He wasn’t interested in positioning himself for the best, cinematic camera angle because the adrenaline and fury was still pumping. He wasn’t performing.

This touch accentuated that key feeling perfectly.

So yes, no Downs at all. Dynamite just created two awesome memories that will last forever.

No Downs.
