12 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Mar 12)

5. Coming Around

'The Man' came back around at the top of SmackDown's second hour, armed with a satchel full of barbs and bullets for Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

While not the usual home-run promo we get from Lynch, she was in typical swaggering form, claiming that she'd had to win her way into the 'Mania main event twice: once by winning the Royal Rumble, then by playing Rousey like a fiddle, referring to her Fastlane run-in.

She popped the crowd by asking "do you know how hard it is to play mind games on a woman with no brain?", called Rousey a "little weirdo," then wrapped it up, having successfully extrapolated on what led to Fastlane's divisive finish.

Charlotte's interruption was inevitable. She came out, trumpeted her superiority, said she'd been "chosen to get the job done," and rightly pointed out like Becky effectively got a handout at Fastlane. Not that this hushed 'The Man,' though: "she yer mouth you plastic-faced dope," she replied, and the segment drifted away without the two coming to blows.

This was a necessary explanation of a situation that left many confused, and both characters came off well. A little Ronda Rousey interjection would've been cool, though. If SmackDown can invade Raw, why can't Raw invade SmackDown too?
