Dean Ambrose is one of WWEs most talented and popular stars, with a pretty big upside. When the Shield disbanded last year, it was obvious WWE had big things planned for Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, but it was Ambrose who fans immediately gravitated toward. Despite some repeated questionable booking (jobbing to holograms and exploding TVs), he has managed to remain immensely popular with fans. But one thing that has been a constant failing is WWEs hellbent efforts to paint Ambrose as a lunatic. The writers are so wedded to the Lunatic Fringe nickname that they will have the announcers repeatedly comment on how wacky Ambrose is, how even he doesnt know what hes going to do next, and how unhinged he can be.
