12 Ups And 22 Downs For WWE In 2015

5. Injuries Pile Up

This column already mentioned the loss of Daniel Bryan to injury this year, but he hardly is the only major star to land on the inactive list. In fact, 2015 might be one of the worst years for injuries in recent memory, with plenty of stars spending time on the shelf. Rusev and Lana missed time this summer in the middle of an intricate (and mind-numbing) angle. Sting was rumored to be part of the Undertaker€™s 25th anniversary at Survivor Series, but he was hurt after his title match against Rollins a couple months earlier. Jey Uso, Sheamus and Goldust all missed time earlier in 2015. Bryan had to surrender the Intercontinental Championship in May, but five months later, Seth Rollins had to do the same with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Both are still out Randy Orton is on the sidelines and could very well miss WrestleMania as well. Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella is out with an injury right now. Throw in guys like Tyson Kidd, Cesaro, Darren Young and potentially King Barrett and you have a pretty extensive list of wrestlers on the shelf as 2016 begins.
