12 Wrestlers Who Will Eventually End Up In All Elite Wrestling

6. Flip Gordon

Unfortunately, Flip Gordon isn't booked for Double or Nothing, but unlike with All In, it's not because Cody or The Young Bucks are against the idea of him appearing. Rather, this time it's due to how he isn't contractually allowed to do so.

Gordon burst onto the independent wrestling scene only a few years ago and debuted in Ring Of Honor in the summer in 2017. His exciting aerial abilities helped him stand out from the get-go, though it wasn't until he landed a recurring role on Being the Elite later that year that he started to gain a fan following.

When All In was originally announced, Gordon tried his hardest to get on the card. He failed to capture the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship prior to the pay-per-view, so it looked like he'd have to sit on the sidelines for the show after all.

As it turned out, Gordon worked his way into the pre-show Battle Royal, won it, and earned himself a shot at the ROH World Championship later in the night. He was unsuccessful against Jay Lethal, but he had a strong showing, nonetheless.

Gordon's ROH deal didn't expire at the same time as Cody, the Bucks and Adam Page, so he's been honing his craft there for the last five months. When the day comes that he's back on the market, AEW will waste no time in signing him.
