12 WWE PPV Buys In 2015 Ranked (And What They Mean)

7. Money In The Bank - 57,000 Buys

Also coming in with 57,000 buys was Money In The Bank, which is surprising when you consider the excitement of the MITB ladder match and unpredictability of the winner. You'd have thought that MITB may have been able to catch some casual interest, and thus some more buys. But that wasn't the case, and interest was only at the same level as Payback. This seems to suggest that May and June are just a less engaging period for WWE fans. Being bookended by WrestleMania and SummerSlam makes the interim period look a little lame to viewers. Still, this was an enjoyable show, with all the fun of the MITB match, and excellent performances in John Cena versus Kevin Owens, and WWE Champion Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose in a brutal ladder match.
