12 WWE Rematches That Are Better Than The Original Classic

10. TLC II (WrestleMania X-7)

The first TLC match took place at SummerSlam 2000 and saw The Hardys take on the Dudleys and Edge and Christian in Raleigh, North Carolina (just down the road from their home town of Cameron). After months of ladder matches, Dudley table attacks and con-chair-to's Commissioner Foley put the three hardware elements together in this groundbreaking match. It was a breathtaking stunt show and featured some of the sickest bumps ever seen in a professional wrestling match. A career-shortener, the original TLC match nevertheless improved the popularity of all six competitors, who left everything in the ring. The success of the match necessitated a sequel, which went down at one of the greatest pay-per-views of all time: WrestleMania X-7 in 2001. Featuring yet more reckless stunts and full-on bumps, this match also had the added bonus of featuring interference from Spike Dudley, Rhyno and Lita. Out of the matches' many highlights, the one that stays longest in the memory is Edge's insane spear on Jeff Hardy as Hardy was suspended some fifteen feet in the air. Simply awe-inspiring.
