1. Daniel Bryan
For part of 2014, Daniel Bryan was on top of the wrestling world. There was no one more beloved than the scrappy underdog who finally made it. Then it all came crashing down. Due to an injury, he had to forfeit the title and sat out the rest of the year. He was set to return in time for the Royal Rumble, and hopefully pick up where he left off. It wasnt even close. Bryan was merely an afterthought in the match, as he was tossed out without much fanfare. It was like WWE thought they could sneak his elimination by us. It didnt work out, as the audience was was livid. But, that night we saw how far he had fallen in the eyes of management. Due to the outcry of fans he got his shot at the Mania main event again at Fastlane, only to lose cleanly to Roman Reigns. At WrestleMania, he was given the consolation prize of the Intercontinental Title, that didnt last long either. Bryan is out with another injury, and the poor guy may never wrestle again in WWE. Even if he does return, its unlikely that management will ever trust him in a top role again. Sometimes dreams do come true, but dont end up lasting all that long. Here's hoping to a better 2016 for DB, as it would be nearly impossible to have a worse one.
Andrew Soucek
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
