12. Zack Ryder
It's a shame that things never worked out for Zack Ryder. His United States Championship win in 2011 was so exciting, and it told a great story of an underdog who nobody thought would make it in the WWE, overcoming odds and walking out of TLC as champion at the same time as the likes of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Unfortunately, his run wouldnt last long and hed fade into obscurity once again, after a storyline involving John Cena, Eve Torres and Kane, and past WrestleMania where Eve would kick him right in the Broskis. His Z! True Long Island Story YouTube show was a hit, but there are a lot of people nowadays who think hes just a waste of time. Even with him trying to rejuvenate his career by teaming up with Mojo Rawley in NXT as the Hype Bros, many feel its an opportunity better fitted for someone who hasnt tried and failed before. It does feel like if anyone has to get released soon, Ryder will be on the shortlist, but I personally think he is extremely entertaining and would love to see him back in the limelight as a mid-card challenger.
