8. Je’Von Evans Springs A Surprise

It's either Penta retaining after hitting a jaw-dropping Mexican Destroyer off one ladder through another, or this. Bouncy boys deserve workhorse championships too, y'see. Triple H is visibly high on everything Je'Von Evans has to offer, and the former NXT man is still seriously young. Some youth is needed in the title pack, to be honest.

Matt Cardona would be the first to tell people all about what a shock Intercontinental Title win at WrestleMania feels like. Perhaps he'd be the first one behind the curtain to greet Je'Von and congratulate him for cutting Penta's own title reign short, but this all fully depends on how keen Hunter is on a certain Lucha Bro.

Maybe that won't even come into his thinking. Maybe Trips will just see the chance to make Evans on such a large platform in front of millions of eyeballs and go for it. Even being involved in a match like this (one starring Rey Mysterio, no less) must make Je'Von glow inside. He dreamed of this stuff when he was a kid, and now he's out here living it.

There's room for a title change coming totally out of left field on Sunday night, put it that way. Yep, Penta holding onto his belt would be nice too, but there's something magical about the thought of Je'Von hauling down what's traditionally known as a real star-making strap.

Michael Cole would be losing his mind as he called Evans a future player who just became present. Then Rusev can batter him and win the gold for himself on Raw. Only kidding.
