13 Mind-Blowing WWE WrestleMania 42 Predictions You NEED To Know

7. Rhea Ripley Ends Jade Cargill’s Reign (And Her Faction)

You're reading that correctly: Jade Cargill's faction as well as her title reign.

Michin and B-FAB shouldn't even have agreed to team up with Jade to begin with. It makes no sense. They've been biting back against her bullying ways, and now they're content to link arms with her just because they couldn't beat her. Apparently, someone in WWE's offices heard the old phrase, 'If you can't beat 'em join 'em' for the first time recently and liked it so much they decided to bring it to telly.

Fair enough, but creative has done a shoddy job of making the pair look important to Cargill already. Hell, they've done a frankly crap job of building towards this Women's Title match full stop. It's real easy to see Rhea Ripley running right over the top of Jade in around 10 minutes, then slapping both Michin and FAB with respective Riptides just to put some gloss on her evening.

Don't get it twisted, the failure of this title reign doesn't fall directly at Cargill's feet. She's the latest victim of a title strategy that appears to be this. Crown new champ > forget they're champion for months > book sporadic defences against ill-deserving challengers > book them to lose the belt now you're bored and out of ideas.

It's certainly bold to predict that Jade will drop her title and her allies, but Michin and B-FAB only seem to be around her because WWE realised their 'I'm that bitch, no I'm that bitch' story was sucking wind in a hurry.
